Restoring You Counselling
Counselling in Lincoln and online Counselling
About me
Hi, and thank you for taking the time to visit my site.
My name is Kerry and I am an integrative counsellor based in Lincoln and online. This means I am trained to work with clients in a flexible and tailored way, drawing on different approaches depending on your needs.
Before becoming a counsellor, I worked in both NHS and private healthcare settings for most of my working life. More recently, I have also been overseeing a local mental health support service. Alongside my counselling work, I offer clinical supervision for counsellors and practitioners who are looking for reflective, supportive professional space.
Over the years, I have worked with adults experiencing a wide range of difficulties including stress, anxiety, domestic abuse, trauma, and other life challenges. I also have experience working with young people in schools and private practice.
I am passionate about supporting people to make sense of what they are going through and to find healthier, more sustainable ways of coping with thoughts and emotions. I have always had a strong desire to help others, and discovering how life-changing therapy can be led me to retrain as a counsellor.
What matters most to me is offering a safe, non-judgemental space where you can come as you are. A place where you feel heard, accepted, and understood — often for the first time. I believe it is within this kind of space that meaningful change can begin.
I see therapy as a collaborative process. Life has many ups and downs, and I believe counselling can help you navigate these with greater clarity and self-understanding.
I am just another human on this journey of life. Working with me, you can expect a down-to-earth approach where we work together at your pace, giving you time and space to explore what is on your mind and make sense of things in a way that feels right for you.
Taking the first step into therapy can feel daunting, but it can also be the beginning of self-discovery, healing, and change.
